Complete Range at Scale
Machine platforms from 120 × 120 mm to 2000 × 2000 mm in one family, so a validated process can move from prototype to series production without re-qualification.
PBLM® Metal Additive Manufacturing
Suzhou XDM 3D Printing Technology Co., Ltd. designs and manufactures powder bed laser melting (PBLM® / SLM) equipment with build envelopes from 120 mm to 2000 mm - backed by in-house software, process know-how, materials expertise and full application engineering.
Why XDM
Equipment is only one part of a production-ready additive capability. XDM supplies the machine, the software, the process parameters, the material strategy and the application engineering as one integrated system.
Machine platforms from 120 × 120 mm to 2000 × 2000 mm in one family, so a validated process can move from prototype to series production without re-qualification.
Up to six 500 W fibre lasers on a single build plate, coordinated by one control platform with calibrated fields and managed overlaps.
XDM IntelliProc® for data preparation and XDM IntelliMake® for machine control - process parameters fully open to the user.
ISO 9001 management, dozens of invention patents, layer-wise monitoring and build records that support certification audits.
Machine Portfolio
Every XDM machine shares the same optical philosophy, software environment and quality framework, so a process developed on one platform transfers predictably to another.
XDM 250
A proven mid-size platform balancing build volume and floor space, with a 500 W laser and two build heights.
XDM 750
The machine that introduced 750 × 750 × 500 mm metal PBLM to the world, with four 500 W lasers.
About XDM
In October 2017 XDM released the XDM 750, with a 750 × 750 × 500 mm build envelope - the largest PBLM system in the world at the time - drawing attention from international trade media and industrial customers alike.
Since then the company has developed a complete machine family, expanded its software and process capability, and built a service network that supports customers from feasibility studies through to series production. Our team combines doctors and masters graduates who have worked on SLM for years, experienced production engineers and overseas high-level technical talent.
Capability at a glance
Build volumes, laser power and material coverage that scale with your production programme.
Industries
From topology-optimised aerospace brackets to conformal-cooled mould inserts, the same technology unlocks different value in every sector.
Engine and airframe components where weight is critical and geometries are increasingly complex after optimisation.
Lighter parts, more efficient fixtures and consolidated components that shorten validation cycles.
Conformal cooling that reduces uneven cooling, shortens cycle times and extends mould life.
Custom tools such as induction coils and thermal hardware delivered faster than conventional routes.
Highly individualised implants, dental frameworks and custom instruments produced directly from scan data.
Downhole tools, gas turbine parts and heat exchangers with internal channels and thin walls.
How we work
Our application engineers work alongside your design and manufacturing teams through four clearly defined stages.
We review your CAD data, propose topology and lattice optimisation, choose the build orientation and design supports that are both stable and easy to remove.
From aluminium and titanium to nickel superalloys, tool steel and copper alloys - we match the alloy and parameter set to the mechanical and thermal duty of the part.
Parts are produced on XDM equipment with layer-wise recording, so every build comes with a documented process history.
Stress relief, support removal, surface finishing, heat treatment and dimensional inspection complete the route to a ready-to-use component.
