XDM Metal 3D Printing Machines

Six powder bed laser melting platforms covering build envelopes from 120 × 120 mm to 2000 × 2000 mm - all running the same XDM software environment and open process parameters.

Product Range

Choose the build envelope, then scale the lasers

Every platform shares the same 20 µm process capability, the IntelliProc® / IntelliMake® toolchain and the same quality framework. Start where your part size requires, and scale productivity with additional lasers rather than a different process.

Common Platform

Shared across every XDM machine

Regardless of size, every XDM system is delivered with the same core capabilities - which is why a process developed on one machine can be transferred to another.

  • Minimum layer thickness of 20 µm on every platform
  • 1070 nm IPG fibre laser sources with calibrated optical chains
  • XDM IntelliProc® data preparation with open parameter editing
  • XDM IntelliMake® machine control with layer-wise monitoring and logging
  • Support for tool steel, high-strength steel, stainless steel, nickel superalloys, titanium, cobalt-chrome, copper and aluminium alloys
